About Visit Llanelli
Born and bred in Llanelli, I created this standalone project to proudly promote our town’s massive history, beautiful locations, and amazing local businesses entirely for free.
Visit Llanelli is a free, independent community directory created as a hobby to help promote Llanelli, its history, local places, events, attractions, and businesses.
This website is run by myself, Daniel, who was born and bred in Llanelli. It is not a business, charity, council service, tourism board, or official public body. It is a standalone community project created to support the town in a positive way.
The aim of Visit Llanelli is simple: to give local businesses, community groups, events, and places a free space to be seen online. Businesses can be listed for free, and the website helps highlight what Llanelli has to offer for both locals and visitors.
I personally love Llanelli. Like every town, it has its challenges, but it also has a huge amount to be proud of. Llanelli has hundreds of years of history, beautiful local places, amazing independent businesses, and plenty for people to explore.
Why Now? A Modern Digital Doorstep
The way people shop, explore, and support local has moved online, but keeping up with that shift is not always easy or affordable for small independent traders.
I created Visit Llanelli to give the town a modern digital doorstep, somewhere people can discover local businesses, events, places to visit, and things to do, all in one place.
The project is free to use and free to be listed on. It has been created out of pride for Llanelli and a genuine wish to support the local community.
I launched this project now because our high street and community deserve a modern digital doorstep that brings us all together under one roof.
